Winter
The Pitztal offers something for everyone...
As the southernmost tributary valley of the Inn valley, the Pitztal valley stretches from the Tyrolean district capitalImst into the Ötztal Alps. A traveler can experience more than 40 km (25 mi.) and 1,000 m (3,281 ft.) difference in altitude before reaching the end of the valley at the foot of the highest Tyrolean peak, the Wildspitze (3,774 m (12,382 ft.)).
Into the heart of the Alps: Fernpass - Imst - into the Pitztal valley - Arzl - Wenns ... and then up to Jerzens, closer to heaven - and you're already there and can plunge into your winter dreams!
Jerzens
Varied slopes with long hours of sun and a high degree of snow guarantee; the 6 km (3 mi.) of lit night toboggan run, top food service and après ski places are the highlights of the town in the winter.
